Being ambitious

IF YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE WHAT WAS NEVER EVER ACHIEVED YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING THAT WAS NEVER EVER DONE BEFORE.

You must have seen the advertisement featuring naseerudin shah in which he says “AIM FOR GREAT NOT GOOD” because good is just not good enough. Only the man who dreams big can achieve great.

The world today salutes the great because they have achieved what no one else have ever dreamt of. Satisfaction is a word when misinterpreted kills more dreams than anything else. We are advised by our parents in our childhood to be satisfied with what we have and don’t demand for extra but today if we want to excel we should have that cutting edge that something extra.

Satisfaction solely means that we should not be hurt seeing other’s success rather we should cherish what we have achieved but that doesn’t mean that we should stop once we achieve what others have achieved. The people I think who are satisfied with the 8 hours job and own house and car with a small family and never ever give in the extra effort to achieve anything else are rather not satisfied but they either doubt themselves to take responsibilities or are lazy to take them.

In India even if you are “ONE IN A MILLION” there are 1241 people like you so you can just guess the competition out there.

You cannot be first in the race which everyone is running. So you have to take another race and reach the heights. You have to take the “ROAD NOT TAKEN”. You have to do something unique something original. YOU HAVE TO BE THE BEST IN SOMETHING.

That “something”  has to be your passion, the thing  for which you can sacrifice anything-your meal, your sleep, your comforts everything. By passion I mean the thing which is of your interest and not that stereotype works which people or your society consider good or which can earn you a car or a bungalow.

Never work for earning material things because that is not what is going to come with you to your death bed. The things that come with you to your graveyard is your name, your respect, your character and your inner satisfaction.

As I said earlier about the man who works 8 hours for a car and a house, by that I don’t mean that you should work for bigger cars and houses. That is greed not passion.

Passion  is something that makes you work day and night for your goals-the goals which are to make you unique in world. IT’S THE RESULT OF YOUR INSANE HARD WORK WHICH WILL GIVE YOU SATISFACTION.  And results doesn’t always come what you expect but if your hard work is sincere I bet that results will be hard to believe much better than your expectations.

Always dream high. There are neither any barriers to imaginations nor to the extent of your hard work. Show the world what one can achieve if he is just focused .

Here I will like to quote APJ Abdul Kalam “ IF YOU WANT TO EXCEL TIE YOURSELVES TO GOALS AND NOT PEOPLE AND THINGS”.

No one ever dreamt of 100 centuries in international cricket but SACHIN TENDULKAR achieved hence the world salutes him.

People of India never expected that India will have independence but some freedom fighters like BHAGAT SINGH and GANDHIJI and many more achieved that and they became immortal in hearts of people.

No one knew about America in 14^th century but Christopher Columbus never gave up on his dream of discovering a new land and he succeeded.

Never did anybody  expect  Narendra Modi to be the prime minister of India but he worked selflessly towards his dreams and goals and today everyone has the word NAMO on his tongue.

LIFE IS NOT A BED ROSES BUT WE DO POSSESS THE TALENTS OF COLLECTING THE ROSES AND LAYING THEM ON OUR BED AND THEN SLEEP ON IT.
